Therapy That Fits You

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so I want you to feel clear and comfortable about how it all works. Below you’ll find everything you need to know—about your first consultation, ways to meet, payment details, accessibility and more. My aim is to make the process as simple and reassuring as possible, so you can focus on getting the most from our time together.

We can walk and talk at one of two sites which offer a unique, secluded feel with easy access to nearby towns — perfect for a private, uninterrupted session. In addition to walking therapy, we can meet online, which is also our back-up plan for severe weather conditions.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Combine the benefits of movement, fresh air, and nature with professional support.

Walking alongside one another can help ease conversation and create a relaxed, open setting for therapy.

Free Consultation
We’ll begin with a free 20-minute phone or video call to talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and whether we’re a good fit.

First Session
Our first 60-minute meeting takes place in the woods. We’ll walk the route together, complete some essential paperwork (assessment, therapy contract, risk assessment), and begin to build our therapeutic relationship.

Ongoing Sessions
After that, we’ll meet weekly for a calm, immersive woodland walk. There’s time to pause, reflect, and talk—or simply share a brew among the trees. I do not provide support between sessions, but we can discuss your needs and guide you towards agencies and services for that support.

Weather Plan
Sessions are outdoors whenever possible. In cases of very heavy rain, strong winds, or extreme cold, we’ll move online for that week’s session.

Accessibility & Fitness

Walk & Talk Therapy involves gentle but sustained walking. A reasonable level of fitness is needed, and we'll discuss any health conditions before starting.

The current route is not wheelchair accessible - however we can explore other routes together if needed.

Talk & Do Therapy is a complimentary activity offering supportive, activity-based sessions (using natural materials, foraging, craft, whittling, gathering fire wood and more) outdoors in addition to, or instead of a walk.

Online Counselling and Psychotherapy

Online counselling offers the flexibility and comfort of meeting from your own home or private space. Sessions are held securely over Zoom, making therapy accessible wherever you are, while still providing a safe, supportive, and confidential environment.

I bring both professional training and experience to my online work, helping you explore challenges and build strategies for change. Online therapy is ideal if you prefer not to travel, need flexibility around your schedule, or feel more comfortable in familiar surroundings.
